Zoo firsts

We got to meet up with our buddies at the zoo...we were excited for this outing because they are moving to Texas:( The boys held maya's hand throughout the zoo and loved pointing out all the animals to her. She also got to go into the "budgie buddies" exhibit with them and they fed the birds..usually I don't take her in there because I don't care for bird poop in my hair..anyways,she lovvved it...then,they got to ride the train which was a special treat because if it would have been just Maya and I she wouldn't have been able to go(no adults)..but the boys took turns riding by her and holding her hand...it was hard tearing her off of that ride...the last treat was riding the carousel...lucky girl!I see now how easy it is for zoos and parks to make money off parents..hahaha..especially first time parents like me...I'm a sucker...I did resist the gift shop though..
