First sign of jealousy with the baby was  when I put Ashtyn in the ergo..there were tears and Maya kept saying "stop", "no".....so I gave Maya her turn too:

1.Ashtyn is a gender neutral name(I didn't think of that before) so at every question of what my baby's name is people say "oh he is so cute"..
2. Dressed Ash in Orange polka dots and she got called a boy at Costco..and I didn't correct the lady...
3.diaper rash with two kids sucks..
4.I might have traumatized mai with my hospital stay because she will randomly call out mama in a panicked tone and I know she wants to make sure I'm not leaving her..
5. 4 hours of sleep now makes me feel like I have gotten 8..
6. Thank goodness for extra help from my parents to play and wear out Maya..I hope soon to bundle the kids up and get the double stroller going..
7.I still can have special Maya time..yesterday she helped me at the store..good bonding moments:)
8. I can't stop taking pics of my kiddos..Asian photography overdrive..
9.Yesterday I changed ash' s diaper 5 different times in 15 min..that kid can poop..
10. I have showered like 3 times the  whole week..lovely...

Holy cow I got the biggest hugs ever from Maya when I got home..and once again I teared up...and then I picked her up and she felt like she weighed 50 lbs..I guess when I gave birth I also lost all arm strength and what minimal core muscles I had...she actually was so excited to see Ashtyn. Then she decided to bring over all her toys and give them to her baby sis.She said she wanted to share..I have a feeling that might be a one time thing..hahha..well,reality has already hit..I have no idea how to juggle two kids...time to Google...

And today is our anniversary..I feel so blessed to have married brad and have two daughters with him..looking forward to many more years and memories as a family...

Can't wait to get home! Last night was exhausting..Ashtyn wasn't a happy camper...but now daddy is back this morning:)))

good morning

Ashtyn did great during the night.It was just me with her at the hospital because we thought that would be the best for Maya.Maya loved touching Ashtyn' s toes and holding her hand.However when it came time to leave she screamed and cried and didn't stop saying "mama mama mama"...I think it was the hormones but it made me cry..then I guess during the middle of the night she went all around the house looking for me....siggghhh..I'll be home soon with my two girls and that will be the best!!!

So baby girl decided to be comfy cozy and not come early..my dad came 10 days ago and Maya has enjoyed all the attention..my grandma came as well which has been a treat! Right now I am at the hospital and things are moving along well:) the epidural is my bff..i am excited about baby girl being born today because I think it's a fabulous date..now, brad,mai,and baby girl are on the 21st...time to catch up on pics:

pumpkin time!

Well the pumpkin patch was nothing like any found in Oregon...we went to one where they just put picked pumpkins in a fenced in lot...but,the weather was gorgeous and lil girl did have fun:) the wheelbarrow was adorable!

I'm just realizing this might be the last time I have a belly quite like this...so I would like to record some things that have happened: i definitely have spit out my toothpaste right onto my stomach since it sticks out so much, I have carried Maya through a store without realizing my shirt was not covering my stomach, I look forward to tying my shoes again, I will miss Maya kissing my belly, I will not miss Maya trying to lift my shirt up every time someone asks about mama having a baby, I like feeling all the rolling and kicking just preferably not at night:), I enjoy having a reason to wear elastic everything...

37 weeks! Full term!

Today, I took Maya to burger king' s play place where they have huge tunnels to climb into(hence the rule only 4-10 year olds allowed)..but she was the only kid there so I thought she would enjoy climbing around...turns out she got stuck in one  tunnel that had a dip in a v shape and she couldn't climb out because her socks were slippery..so mama had to climb up and rescue her..and instead of climbing back through the tunnels we climbed up another two feet to the slide to make our exit..well I hoisted maya up first and when I started  climbing up she reached her hand out to me and said "mama hand..help"to help me climb..omg it was precious...well that slide was easily 20 feet tall and I had her on my lap to go down it and I would not have been surprised if that climbing and then the slide put me into labor..i will not be taking her back there until she can climb out herself...i told brad that night and he said Maya must have been crazy to think she could pull me  up..hahaha..
