Aunty roo made it to town!

Ashtyn had her two month appointment..she weighs 11 lbs and 7 oz..and is 23 inches long...decided to split up shots and so far she is being quite the trooper..

And Maya painted her first cup and she looks like a pineapple according to brad:

i saved 30 cents!!

Maya did number two in the potty...and both brad and I were still in bed...oops...I heard her yelling "mama help" and found she had put her potty seat on the guest bathroom toilet, climbed up somehow,and successfully went...I was shocked because she NEVER wants to do a number two on the potty..I actually haven't pushed potty training only because I didn't want to get frustrated..and Maya has shown so much interest it has been great..all I have been responsible for is buying the potty chair and seat and making sure she gets a sticker..gosh I am hoping she stays with it because I would lovvvveee to only be changing one kid's diaper...

We went to bass pro today and Maya got to see moose and of course all the fish..we tried to get her to see Santa but that didn't go over well:

And when we were leaving she started waving and said "goodbye zoo!!"...poor kid didn't realize those animals never moved....

We were able to go to the zoo the other day before all this cold weather hit..I took pics of Maya with her fave animals:

And I'm getting some awesome Xmas gifts already...my root canal and crown, needed new brakes and tires for the car(ugh), and fun medical bills.....hoping I don't need any more presents like these....

Had Maya' s two year old checkup...36 inches 96 percentile..and 24.4 lbs 15 percentile..only two shots...and now the next well check is when she turns three...so glad there won't be shots for so long now! Except now ashtyn will begin all of hers..eek..

Still in a good mood after those shots...
